Valley Children’s Hospital Mobility Course
Zumwalt Construction, Inc. provided an in-kind donation of construction services to a young Eagle Scout, Liam Niewohoner. While Liam was attending Boy Scout camp he had to use a wheelchair due to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and kept getting stuck on everything including rocks, bridges, and curbs. After that trip he was inspired to create something for his Eagle Scout Service Project at Valley Children’s Hospital, so he began with his idea of building an outdoor pediatric mobility course to the adaptive sports program. Zumwalt Construction, Inc. along with Darden Architects and other kind donators help to make Liam’s vision come to life.
