Meyers Sports Medicine Facility

The Meyers Sports Medicine Facility is a new 11,700 sf. state of the art sport medicine facility. The Project required demolition of existing training structures, concrete slabs, and fencing. New underground utility services, gas, water, sewer and storm were installed to service the building. The new structure is a single-story structural steel frame with steel stud infill, built on a concrete foundation and slab. The facility features 3 therapeutic pools using a pool equipment pit constructed to support the prefabricated pools and house the support equipment in a concrete and steel cast in a place basement and structural poured in place concrete deck. The exterior appearance uses a composite of metal siding, concrete block veneer, glass and fiberglass panels, the interior design provides rooms with vaulted ceilings and exposed structural steel.
